To Whom It May Concern

I am pleased to introduce Bill King and his associate Jeff Sutherland, partners in the Halifax Chapter of the Mulligan Tour, The Public Golfers Tour.   The Mulligan Tour invites avid golfers to Tournament style golf every second weekend at top rated courses within the Halifax Regional Municipality .   This letter acknowledges that $15.00 from each Mulligan Tour membership sold will be donated to the Nova Scotia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.  As such, we are pleased to promote this endeavour.

The Nova Scotia SPCA is a registered charity with a network of Branches in the province of Nova Scotia . We rely on volunteers and donations to fund animal protection; care and rehabilitation; advocacy; and humane education. We are unique among animal welfare organizations in the province; with a legislated mandate to enforce animal cruelty laws for the entire province.  Last year the SPCA and its Branches took in thousands of animals through cruelty investigations or as stray and surrendered animals. Our objective is to ensure that displaced animals get a second chance at a loving forever home. We are not an agency of the government nor do we receive tax dollars to fulfill our mandate.

It is through the kindness of people like Bill and Jeff that we are able to continue our lifesaving work in the prevention of cruelty to animals.   Should you wish to support the efforts of the Mulligan Tour by providing a gift certificate or prize, we would be pleased to answer any questions you may have.  Please do not hesitate to contact me direct at 835-4798 ex. 222.

Thanks very much for your support.

Sincerely,

Helen Glenn
