Welcome to 2012 Season of The Mulligan Tour in
Dallas. This is our 5th season and we 're excited to bring you a new
year of competition in 2012.
Last year was very exciting with a number of
individuals in the running for the Grand Prize, a trip to Niagara
Falls. Ultimately, congratulations go to Clay Johnston for winning
the tour finals event and Don Cogburn the points champion wining the
trip to The Mulligan Tour Finals in Niagara Falls. Don Cogburn and
Tim Smith (on his 4th visit to The National Championships) all had a
great time in Niagara Falls to play in the National Championship
against the other 15 Mulligan Tour Chapters. This year, we'll be
looking for a new winner!
A little information about the Tour – The Mulligan Tour is
designed for men and women who are interested in playing competitive
golf but may not be the low handicap that other amateur events
require. Our tour welcomes individuals of all handicap and
abilities and tests your game against your peers. All our
winners are determined by NET Score. Don’t have a handicap?
No problem, memebership with The Mulligan Tour gives you your own
Handicap service. We determine your Tour Handicap by what you
shoot on Tour. That means that it is impossible for handicaps
to be misrepresented, making it fair for everyone.
The Mulligan Tour is a competitive fun Tour, (The
emphasis is just as much on fun as it is on competitiveness)
$10/player does go in the cash pot with the feeling that if you win
you should have your day paid for as a result! Handicaps are based
on your last 6 Tournament rounds with peer review available in our stats (Provided by leaderboard.com).
The Mulligan Tour will
offer formats ranging from 2 person Net Best Balls, Scrambles,
Stableford scoring, singles events as well as a mid
season 2 Day Major! Our end of year 2 day Tour Championship will
crown our Tour Champion and represent the Dallas Tour with an
expense paid trip to the Tour Finals in Niagara Falls, Ontario
Canada. In order to
qualify for the Tour Finals, players must play in at least 6
tournaments.
Keep in mind Mulligan Tour
members are eligible to play in events from all chapters of The
Mulligan Tour.
