Epaminondas Karelis

Epaminondas Karelis - From Greek History "Epaminondas" is known as a Greek General...but don't tell Nondas that, he knows it as a "Greek Goddess".  As you can see from many of my "Dominican Open" pictures we can certainly see him as the "Greek Goddess" that he claims to be :). Many Champions do have "different" names just as Tiger woods is really "Eldrick Tont Woods". Nondas Has certainly had his good years during his time with us but none like the year he is having this year!.

Nondas Has been with the Mulligan Tour for 12 years now and he certainly has brought some fun, enjoyment and "character" to the Tour during his time with us. One thing I and I am sure those of you who know him can say that he is one of the Tours "Jokers" that enjoys times with the friends he has made on tour while he "pokes'" fun at himself or others in a respectful way...it is tough to feel the effects of a "Bad round" with Nondas in your group!

I noticed from my "Interview" with Nondas that he claims one of his strengths is "dealing with anger management". I could only assume that this was a result of him breaking his so called "favorite club" the 7 iron at this years Ryder Cup practice round after taking 5 shots to get out of the rough. After canvassing some players and running the Tour I will have to admit that I have never heard a bad thing about him...only players expressing how they enjoy a round of golf with Nondas. With the 2 day chapter finals upon us this weekend I will have to add that Nondas may be a "favorite" but has made one of his biggest disappointments by losing an 8 stroke lead in a Major (does Greg Norman ring a Bell?).

Nondas was known as "Bruiser" before his new "Greek Goddess" nick name came into play. In 2006 "Bruiser" did not use his clubs on one occasion to take out his opponent! With Nondas settling into his life, family and fatherhood Nondas has certainly learned to live life to its fullest. I will add that Nondas's success is not only on the Golf Course! As a entrepreneur myself I will have to say Nondas has done quite well for himself with his business.......nothing makes me happier to see a successful entrepreneur story which I feel Nondas has certainly done. I will add that his success was not done without a "good women" by his side, His wife Mary has certainly been an asset to Nondas's life in many ways including helping him with his successful business as his Admin assistant. I am also sure that coming home to his sweet little girl  Joanna helps bring happiness and tranquility to his life.

Hopefully many more years with you on Tour...its been a pleasure!
